Rhode Island remains under an elevated fire weather risk on Friday.
The National Weather Service says the raised concerns are due to a very dry air mass and gusty winds.
Forecasters say the winds will be out of the northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour, and minimum relative humidity will range between 20 and 30 percent.
Outdoor burning is NOT recommended.
