Driver In Fatal Crash Free On Bail

The 40-year-old suspect in a deadly hit-and-run in Providence has been arraigned and released today on 30 thousand dollars bail.

Domingo Grave-Castro turned himself in to police yesterday after he allegedly hit 76-year-old Violet Barracks as she crossed Union Avenue Saturday afternoon.

He's charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

His license is revoked, he was ordered to surrender his passport and he's due back in court in August.

Family members of the victim wonder how someone can be released from prison after such a violent accident.
