Central Falls Mask Mandate Returns For Schools Today

The Central Falls Public School District is putting a new mask mandate into effect.

The district says the move is being made due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases, and for the health and safety of students and staff.

In a statement officials say " Please know this decision is to keep our students and team safe and healthy."

Central Falls was one of only two Rhode Island school districts to keep their original mask mandate in place even after the statewide mandate ended in March.
