A mask mandate is being reinstated in Providence public schools effective tomorrow.
With COVID cases rising, all students and staff will be required to be masked inside buildings, on school buses and at school-sponsored events.
The district says that as of last week, positive cases were up to about 60 a day.
The mandate will be in place until further notice.
