An update now on the crash in Northfield, Massachusetts that sent a group of motorcyclists to the hospital.
The Northwestern District Attorney's office is identifying the driver who allegedly caused the crash as 32 year old Ryan O'Farrell of Westerly, Rhode Island.
DA David Sullivan says that he was driving an SUV that crossed the double solid line at the intersection of routes 10 and 63 and hit five Connecticut bikers, two of them critically.
Police say there were two kids, 11 and 12 in the time of that crash.
O'Farrell arrested at the scene on seven counts of driving under the influence of drugs causing serious bodily injury in addition to unlicensed operation of a vehicle among other things.
He is expected to be arraigned Tuesday.
