The Captain of a yacht, racing from Newport to Bermuda has died when he apparently fell overboard while on the race course.
Officials are identufying the victim as Colin Golder of New Providence, New Jersey.
Little is known about the circumstances.
Officials say the crew is headed back to the mainland.
They were able to recover the body.
The 635 mile race left Newport on Friday headed to St David's Light, Bermuda.
No other information is available.
