Stunted Crops And Brown Lawns Issues With Dry Conditions Statewide

The latest Drought Monitor Report is out for the state and it shows that most of the state is dealing with dry weather.

The report shows Washington County, particularly the Westerly area dealing with “abnormally” dry weather, while most of the rest of the state is considered to be in a “moderate drought.”

The experts say with such conditions, crop growth could be stunted.

The threat of fire is increased and homeowners are likely to see more brown lawns and backyard gardens wilt under the conditions.
