Oldest Parade In The Country Ready In Bristol Today!

The oldest Fourth of July parade in the country is set for today in Bristol.

Marchers will step off at 10:30 a.m. for the 237th edition of the parade.

Thousands of people traditionally line the route, and Bristol police say security will be provided by local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

Governor McKee will be there for ceremonies before the parade. He will walk the route as well.

That's not the only walking the Governor will be doing today.

The Governor will also be at the Gloucester Parade this afternoon.
