Providence Police have said little and have made no arrests in two weekend shootings.
In one, a 15 year old boy on Wallace Avenue was shot and killed.
The victim found shot in a driveway.
“Last night, Providence experienced a tragic loss when a teenage boy was shot and killed,” said Mayor Jorge O. Elorza.
“Our community mourns for his family, friends and our community who will all be impacted by this senseless act of violence.
This matter is still under investigation and if anyone has any information regarding what happened, please contact the Providence Police.”
In the other- a man seriously hurt outside of a gas station on Smithfield Avenue.
More details are expected later either later today or Monday.
