All monkeypox vaccine appointments in the state have been filled for this weekend. The State Health Department made the announcement Friday night.
Pre-registration is required for the vaccinations and so no walk-ups are being taken either.
The vaccine in Rhode Island and throughout the US has been in very short supply and appointments have been going at a rapid pace.
According the doctors, those who have been in close contact with a person who has monkeypox; are gay, bisexual or transgender should obtain appointments.
Officials say you have to be 18 or older.
Most states have reported at least one case of the virus.
