Block Island's reputation this summer is taking another hit.
Officials last month reported epic levels of public drunkenness.
Police boarded the Block Island Ferry in Narragansett late Monday evening and arrested seven people in connection to a fight.
There were also a couple of brawls in New Shoreham at Ballard's bar and restaurant, including one that happened during a reggae concert.
The Rhode Island State Police made one disorderly conduct arrest in relation to those incidents.
Meantime, because of the increase in drunkenness, the town council will take up the issue and come up with measures to address it.
That meeting is set for Thursday night.
