The New Shoreham Town Council voted unanimously at a public safety meeting on Thursday to schedule a hearing to discuss pulling the licenses from a bar and restaurant which may have led to at least some of the recent misconduct on the Island.
One person was arrested in connection to a fight at Ballard's Beach and Resort on Monday.
There was also a fight on the Block Island ferry from later that night which resulted in seven arrests, but it's not clear if that is connected to the fisticuffs at Ballard's.
That meeting is set for August 22.
