A renaming ceremony this afternoon for the former Dunkin' Donuts Center.
The Providence Civic Center will now be known as Amica Mutual Pavillion, or "the AMP."
The new naming rights deal will cost Lincoln-based Amica Insurance 900-thousand-dollars a year for the next decade.
The arena has played host to a variety of high profile events, from wrestling, to the NCAA tournament. The American Hockey League's Providence Bruins call the arena home.
The Providence Friars basketball team plays home games there as well.
