The Rhode Island Medical Examiner's Office is still working to determine the identities of two bodies found Monday at the home of former Woonsocket mayor Susan Menard.
The home belongs to Menard, according to Woonsocket police chief Thomas Oates, but he could only identify the bodies, which were found in a state of decomposition, as an elderly male and female.
There was no evidence of a crime committed.
There is no danger to the public.
Menard was the mayor of the city from 1995 to 2009.
