WNV Cases Start To Add Up

More West Nile Virus has been detected in Rhode Island.

It was found in mosquitoes collected on September 7th.

Results from mosquitoes collected on the 12th, were negative and test results from the 19th are pending.

WNV has been detected four times this season in the state with one human case reported.
