All South Kingstown schools which were closed on Wednesday are open today.
The closure was prompted by threats of violence which were reportedly issued via social media.
The South Kingstown Police Department says the threats were allegedly made by a juvenile, and that the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office has been notified.
Police have not gone into the nature - nor the reason for the threat.
