The Boston Bruins won their season opener on Wednesday night, 5-to-2 over the Washington Capitals in DC.
David Pastrnak had a goal and three assists to lead the B's.
Bruins new head coach Jim Montgomery says he is pleased with the two points but it was far from a perfect game.
He says there is plenty to clean up.
Boston's home opener is Saturday versus Arizona.
