There is a new study out and it shows that Rhode Island is among the most expensive states to retire to,
The new report is from the financial services company Bankrate.
The criteria for the 2022 rankings included weather, crime rate, diversity, well-being and affordability.
The Ocean State's overall ranking was 34th most affordable out of the 50 states.
According to Bankrate Rhode Island ranks 7th best for crime rate, 9th in diversity, 11th best for well-being, 28th for weather and 44th out of 50 states in affordability.
