The name and logo of Rhode Island's new professional soccer team is expected to be unveiled on today.
The announcement is being made by the group Rhode Island Pro Soccer.
The team will play their home games at the new stadium being built on the Seekonk River in Pawtucket.
Rhode Island was left with zero outdoor pro sports teams after the Pawtucket Red Sox moved to Worcester.
