The Rhode Island Department of Health is sharing tips for staying healthy this Thanksgiving.
Residents are encouraged to stay home when feeling sick and practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including the flu, RSV and COVID.
The department suggests that people take a COVID test if they're visiting with friends and family who are at higher risk for serious illness.
Meantime, as people are getting ready to sit down at the Thanksgiving table- what is the most popular side dish?
Glazed Carrots.
That's according to Google search data compiled by Zippia.
The report found that America's most-googled Thanksgiving side, as a whole, was mashed potatoes. Other top contenders were rolls, green bean casserole, and stuffing.
