Rhode Island is partially under a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service.
All of Providence County as well as western Kent County are included in the advisory from 7 p.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Saturday.
The problem won't be just with the snow.
The weather service is predicting one-to-six inches of snow for the area, but the problem will be winds gusting as high as 45 miles per hour.
Saturday we will see some lingering rain and light snow. Winds will diminish inland and temperatures will rise to the mid and upper 30s.
Sunday will see partly sunny skies and the high in the low 40s
