Rhode Islanders are risk takers according to gambling.com.
The web site compiled rankings based on factors including lottery sales, extreme sports, business applications per capita, searches for cryptocurrency and state migration rates.
Rhode Island is ranked fifth among the top ten "riskiest" states in the country. Two other New England states are in the top ten -- Vermont is ranked fourth and New Hampshire is ninth.
Massachusetts was 11th.
