Powerful Nor'Easter Headed Our Way

The National Weather Service has placed northwest Providence County under a Winter Storm Warning from 8 p.m. Monday until 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Heavy snow is expected, totaling six-to-twelve inches.

The Woonsocket area is a concern for the heavier amounts of snow.

Winds are predicted to gust as high as 55 miles per hour.

The city of Providence and central Rhode Island are under a Winter Storm Watch for possible snow accumulations of 4-to-8 inches and wind gusts up to 60.
