Boston is marking ten years since the deadly bombing struck the 117th Boston Marathon.
Three people were killed and more than 260 were injured when two pressure cooker bombs went off near the finish line.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu joined Massachusetts Governor Maura Healy and hundreds of others Saturday in a somber procession to commemorate the tragic anniversary.
A brief ceremony was held at the finish line where bells were rung followed by a moment of silence to honor the victims and survivors.
Security will be very tight for today's Boston Marathon. There are no credible threats reported against the race.
Runners will see cooler temps than a lot of other years- and the possibility of some showers throughout the day.
The Marathon isn't the only thing going on today. The Red Sox will play their annual game at 11AM. Today it will be against the Angels.
Tonight the Bruins open up the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Florida Panthers at home.
