The North Kingstown School District is selecting a new superintendent.
The North Kingstown School Committee has hired Dr. Kenneth Duva to start in July.
Duva has been the superintendent of the Jamestown School Department since 2016.
The previous North Kingstown superintendent, Philip Auger, resigned last year amid the scandal about alleged inappropriate body fat tests conducted by former boys' basketball coach Aaron Thomas.
