The Twins are now leading the AL Central with a record of 37-and-38.
Kaleb Ort was tagged with the loss after allowing an unearned run over a third of an inning of relief.
Justin Turner drove in a pair of runs after going two for four at the plate with a solo homer.
Boston is now last in the AL East at 39-and-36.
