Air Quality Alert For Much Of State Because Of Canadian Wildfires

Much of the state is under an Air Quality Alert for the rest of the day because of the Canadian Wildfires and the smoke that is moving through New England.

The alert will be in effect until 11:59 PM tonight.

Those who have breathing issues are asked to curtail their outdoor activities for the day.

The wild fires in Canada continue to burn out of control with more than a million acres having been consumed in various parts of the region.
