The Topgolf location in Cranston has finally been rebranded.
Officials say the venue was branded as Topgolf Providence, but it's located on Sockanosset Cross Road in Cranston.
The website revealed its new name as Topgolf Rhode Island.
Officials say Mayor Ken Hopkins was willing to compromise on the name after he wanted the city's name to be in the official title.
Topgolf Rhode Island is expected to open in the fall.
The Mayor has not commented.
