CVS could be cutting thousands of jobs. Reuters reporting that as many as 5 thousand non customer facing positions are going to be cut in order to save money.
Some three hundred thousand people work for the company.
In addition, the company is likely to cut down on the use of consultants and outside travel, again in an effort to cut down on costs.
The Woonsocket, Rhode Island company has not commented on the report specifically.
