Shellfish Recall Announced By State

The Rhode Island Department of Health is alerting consumers about a shellfish recall.

Rhode Oysters Co., LLC, doing business as Walrus and Carpenter Oysters, is recalling all oysters harvested from its farm with dates between July 28th and August 19th.

The recall is due to a potential link of the harvest area to an outbreak of vibrio bacteria.
