Hurricane Lee was being tracked at a Category 3 storm by the National Hurricane Center as of Sunday night.
Lee is expected to move up the United States East Coast this week, but it remains uncertain whether it will make landfall.
The National Weather Service in Boston is predicting increasing surf and rip currents to likely begin around Tuesday.
