A former Providence resident who authorities say faked a cancer diagnosis and his own death can be extradited to the United States to face multiple charges including a 2008 rape in Utah.
The BBC reported an extradition order for Nicholas Alahverdian, also known as Nicholas Rossi, was signed last week.
He was arrested in Scotland in 2021 after he was hospitalized for COVID.
He claimed to be Arthur Knight of Ireland but tattoos and fingerprints revealed his true identity.
