The Rhode Island Congressional delegation on record against the attack on Israel over the weekend.
Senator Jack Reed called it appalling and said that Israel has every right to defend itself against the attack.
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse said there is never an excuse for terrorism.
Congressman Seth Magaziner said the unprovoked attack on civilians was “unconscionable.”
Governor McKee issued a social media statement: "I strongly condemn the abhorrent acts of terrorism by Hamas against innocent civilians in Israel. These attacks are unconscionable. Rhode Island stands in solidarity with Israel and we pray for their safety."
Meantime, police from all over New England are on alert increasing security around Jewish Centers.
