The Boston Bruins are beginning their 2023-2024 NHL season tonight.
The Bruins are home versus the Chicago Blackhawks, with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop from T.D. Garden.
This will be the first year for longtime Bruins winger Brad Marchand as the captain of the team, due to the retirement of future Hall-of-Fame centerman Patrice Bergeron.
The Providence Bruins will kick off the American Hockey League season on Friday at home versus Hartford.
