A second death is being counted in a late-summer crash on Route 95 in North Attleboro.
The Bristol County District Attorney says James Griffin of Providence passed away due to his injuries last week.
The 61-year-old was a retired member of the Rhode Island State Police.
Joseph Pompei Jr. of Cranston has pleaded not guilty to motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation and leaving the scene of the three-vehicle accident on August 28th.
