David Pastrnak scored off a Milan Lucic feed in the second period to give the Bruins the lead.
Pastrnak added an empty netter in the third to seal the win.
Boston is tied atop the Atlantic Division with two points at 1-0-and-0.
Chicago leads the Central Division with two points at 1-1-and-0.
