Missing Coventry, RI Woman, Two Kids Found

Coventry, Rhode Island police say the woman and her two children that were the subject of a region wide search have been found safe and sound. But officials- as is their protocol, have not released details about what transpired.

Police tell us Nancy Pizarro, and her two children have been missing since yesterday afternoon.

Officials were attempting a well being check at her Washington Street apartment when the woman and her two children, five year old Nylah and 2 year old Nolan left the home.

Police say there was some kind of a disturbance at the home.

The trio left in a black 2011 Mazda CX-7, bearing MA Pass registration 4LDF44.

Police say she may have been upset and had what were described as "self inflicted cuts" on her arms.

Police in Cranston has at least one sighting of the woman. But Police also say that she has family ties to Western Massachusetts, although we don't know specifically where.

Anyone with information is asked to call Coventry Police at 401-826-1100.
