A Norwich University cadet from North Providence is being honored with five others for saving a child at a fair.
The university said the six cadets, including Jacob Turner, freed a young girl after a structure collapsed at the Tunbridge Fair in Vermont.
They were given the Life Saving Citation by the university for their quick actions to bring the girl to safety.
It's the highest award that can be given to a cadet at Norwich.
