A weekend fire in Cranston has left five people homeless.
Officials say the blaze broke out in a home on Frances Avenue at around 3 p.m. Saturday.
Crews from several departments totaling about 40 firefighters responded; no one was injured, but the home was severely damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
