Governor Dan McKee has issued an official disaster declaration for Rhode Island.
The declaration will allow additional assistance to come to the state as it recovers from the unnamed winter storm that passed through on Monday.
Funding from Washington should be forthcoming, but disaster thresholds set by the Federal Emergency Management Agency must be met.
