Fourteen Rhode Island farms have received 256 thousand dollars in agricultural energy grants.
The grants, which come through the state's participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, are designed to support energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
The amounts of the funds range from just under 72-hundred dollar to 20 thousand dollars.
