First Look At Winter Is Just Ahead

Rhode Island residents are being urged to prepare for a possible winter storm that could impact the state in the coming days.

Forecasters say precipitation could begin falling as early as Saturday night and that some spots may end up having to deal with several inches of snowfall.

However, that might change based on the track the storm takes as it nears the state.

We could see between four and six inches of snow in many parts of the state before the storm passes Sunday afternoon.
