Strong winds and heavy rains, combined with melting snow from last weekend's storm, resulted in significant flooding across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Rainfall totals included 5-point-48-inches in Coventry, just over five inches in Greenville, and more than four and a half inches in Providence.
Evacuations and rescues were reported in Johnston and West Warwick.
The Newport Pell Bridge recorded wind gusts as high as 89 miles per hour, while 75 mph was taken at the Conimicut Lighthouse.
RIDOT has announced the Bristol-Providence ferry service resumes at 6:30 am but on a modified schedule.
Meantime forecasters are tracking another storm that is rain dominated that is expected to hit on Saturday.
