Police in Cumberland say that a white supremacist group held at least three different gatherings on Saturday, one of which was at the public library.
Authorities say those involved were members of The People's Initiative of New England, which is listed by the Anti-Defamation League as a hate group.
PINE reportedly calls for New England to secede from the US and form a white homeland, which will exclude immigration of all non-whites.
Police say all gatherings were orderly and no arrests were made.
