Coventry officials are seeking to merge its four fire districts into one municipality.
The town's EMS and fire departments are understaffed, with only about a dozen personnel.
The merger would eliminate a fire tax, which is currently different for each district, and move that into the property tax.
The matter is expected to come up at a town council meeting on April 4th.
