A fire in Providence on Sunday has left six people homeless.
Crews were called to the first block of Ayrault Street and went to two alarms.
Nearly 50 firefighters worked to contain the blaze, which spread to a second home.
There were no reported injuries, but a cat was lost in the fire.
Six residents are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
