The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority has scheduled a special hearing for Thursday to consider the future of the agency's CEO.
Scott Avedisian is suspected of ramming a vehicle in a McDonald's drive-thru in Warwick on March 27th, which sent the second car into a third, and fleeing the scene.
Newly released police body camera video shows the aftermath of the incident, where witnesses indicated Avedisian may have been intoxicated.
Avedisian, a former mayor of Warwick, was tracked to his home, but he refused to answer the door.
Former RI House Speaker John Harwood is representing Avedisian and denied the allegation that his client was impaired.
