Pro-Palestine demonstrators who are barricaded in RISD's Prov-Wash building say they will continue their occupation until the school meets their demands.
The protesters have told President Crystal Williams they will "not bend" or make concessions to the administration and any attempts to intimidate or divide will only make them stronger.
The demonstrators want RISD to divest from groups involved with "sustaining Israel Apartheid" and a public condemnation of Israel's actions in Gaza.
Williams has said she would stop advocating to the RISD Board of Trustees on the students' behalf until they vacate the building and pledge not to disrupt commencement.
