Committee Approves Budget- Heads To State House

The Rhode Island House Finance Committee has approved an almost 14-billion-dollar state budget.

The spending plan is about 60 million dollars less than last fiscal year- mainly because there being no pandemic relief funds.

The budget includes about 71 million dollars more for schools, 83 million dollars goes to the Washington Bridge project.

The budget will go to the full House.
