Dozens of animals including 70 snakes were found living in poor conditions in a Providence home.
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management was assisting police with a warrant over the weekend when the animals were discovered.
In addition to the snakes, authorities found a raccoon, a dog and two turtles including one that's illegal to own.
The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is assisting authorities.
